If we're going to trot him out next season, and we are until it's untenable since he's one of our two high $ starters, they need him to get right. Might as well let him give it another go this season once it's confirmed we're eliminated.

I would argue they should work with him to restructure his money so it's spread out over multiple years and have him retire before next year. If he loves Houston and the Astros as much as he says, he should be willing to do it to help out the team. Hell, sign his coffee business up for a spot in the diamond club in exchange for him doing it.

Since I was at the A&M game all day, I missed the playoff scenario being posted… So I guess Detroit won which means our only chance to make it now is to win the next two and hope Cleveland gets swept?

Coming into the last 6 games….all we had to do was win the series with both the A's and angels. We can't do that we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Agreed. Especially against the Angels… should have been a sweep. 5-8 against the A's and not having the tiebreaker over anybody this season also doesn't help.

We have been playing 3 game playoff series for 2 weeks. Literally have been playing playoff baseball games.

We beat Texas 3-0
We list to Seattle 0-3
We lost to the As 1-2
We are losing to the Angels 0-1

We don't deserve to play another playoff series.
