Agreed but i think Espada was pretty set on putting Dubon at 2nd, so I'm not surprised by this. I hope it works.

I think one thing we're not taking into account is Joe and him having last year under his belt.

Last season did not start as planned whatsoever and he had his issues as did many others, but he managed to right the ship and eventually pull out of it.

Having that learning experience and his first year out of the way and getting a fresh start I'm looking for that alone to give us a boost to last years win total.

I think Cam will be a .260/.310/.440 type of hitter this year. Similar to what Pena was his rookie year but with more power upside and less strikeouts (I'm thinking 23-26 HR) if he plays the full season. Which I'll take in a heartbeat and would put him in top 5 rookie of the year voting

But there will definitely be stretches where he looks like a rookie.

I can't imagine that final spot not going to Rodgers if it is indeed between Rodgers and Short
