That's only because this division is the worst in baseball, and it's not even particularly close. I'm so done with this excuse (not speaking to you directly). We'd be in dead ass last in the ALE, maybe 3rd but probably 4th in the ALC. The only reason it might be any sort of accomplishment to win our division this year is because we have a full squad on the DL at one point.

Folks coming on here and playing Hindsight General Manager especially during this slump is silly.

No doubt. Framber is going to need to wear this for a while despite 5 hits, 3 walks, and a WP in 2 innings. If his ERA balloons to 4 so be it.

There were plenty of us who were advocating for at least listening to offers before the deadline. It is only hindsight making that look like it would have been a good idea.

You're telling me you saw this coming?

I called for the trading of Framber, not because I envisioned him sucking, but because I didn't see a team capable of doing damage in the playoffs. The deadline acquisitions were nice, but they haven't done anything to plug the holes in our lineup. Maybe if we get healthier by September with our playoff hopes intact, we can surge late and Framber can play a role. But both of those are looking like bigger and bigger question marks.
