The Astros would claim the 6th seed if they lose tonight but win the final 6 games AT Sacramento and LAA.

Seattle would need to lose 4 to Colorado and LA in order to win the Division.

With that said, given how the A's have been playing lately, it's more likely they will sweep Houston at home.

If the Astros go 3-3 over the final 6, they need Cleveland to go 2-4 OR Detroit to go 1-5. The only saving grace is Cleveland and Detroit have 3 games left against each other. The Astros would love a sweep one way or the other in that series.

Oddly enough, the pitching is what concerns me. The only one I'd trust out there right now is Brown.

I think I'd trust Javier. Not to go 7 shutout …. But to get into the 6th inning giving up 2 runs or so.

Can't run fast, so need multiple errors or walks.

I get what you're saying. But that's basically the entire Astros lineup this year.

I know Jake had a good average this year… but my gosh his power numbers and RBI total were so low.

If projected over 162 games he'd have 5 HR and 40 RBI

Clearly I don't want to, for next season's sake, but this team may need a major rebuild and he's one of the bigger pieces that could attract talent in other areas of need

Well if you're going to do something you might as well do it right.

After we managed a whopping zero runs on Friday with Hunter on the mound, I knew we were getting swept. This season has been such a beat down.

Just a flesh wound.

Funny is that we had moxy with a bunch of Skeeters. Make some logical moves and the we **** the bed spectacularly.

It really always is just one blow up inning with this pitching staff.

Cole has 5 of the 8 total bases in this game for the Astros. Blame the veteran bats for every failure.
