I probably won't watch a pitch of the postseason if the Astros aren't in it.

Hunter Brown is the sixth pitcher in Astros history to throw at least 185 innings in a season and finish with an ERA lower than 2.45. Roger Clemens was the last person to do it in 2005 - https://t.co/6ZwfZiJWQR

If you really want to do a minor rebuild, trade Pena. He probably has the most value outside of Brown. Correa can play SS and Urias can takeover 3B with Paredes to 1B.

I'm becoming more comfortable with this idea. His value is as high as it ever has been after this season (since the WS MVP rookie season anyways--and we were not ever going to flip him then). He finally looks like he's putting it together. Unfortunately, I do not foresee us being a major threat for a deep playoff run in the next few years (definitely not after next year). His best years will be wasted here. If we can get solid value in return, I definitely listen to offers in the offseason and slide CC over.

The nail on the coffin with Espada for me what how poorly he handled Framber assaulting Salazar.
I'll wager he lost the clubhouse at that moment.
Dallas Braden on the A’s broadcast called the Astros “frankly a lifeless ballclub”

I heard from some people with inside sources that some players threw a chair at him in the clubhouse after that happened. But yeah, the manager didn’t handle it like a manager should have. Espada is too much of a nice guy to say and do the things that are actually needed

Wouldn't be surprised if Dubon has been tested more than Raleigh. They are not going to do anything to jeopardize a story about somebody challenging a record that might bring a few more eyeballs to the games.
