This season turned in July when the Guardians came to town dead as a doornail riding a 10 game losing streak and proceeded to sweep us. Turned the fortunes of both clubs. Simply horrible and time for massive changes.

Hopefully as soon as the season ends.

Not a smart manager. Apparently thinks that pitching to Mike Trout in a do-or-die game is the intelligent choice in a close game.

Not great with the clubhouse. Did not address the Framber issues correctly.

Probably responsible for a significant amount of our ridiculous number of injuries this season with poor player rotation, rest, and bullpen usage.

Also must be held accountable for our terrible approaches with doing small ball and generating runs.

Honestly… not as angry as I thought I would be.
The first two games against the A's this week killed any of the hope/excitement.

Aggies are 4-0 and in a fun stretch of football… so it is what it is with the Astros.

New manager, new staff, new pieces… 2028 WS Champs. You heard it here first

Good news about the season ending early - Framber doesn't get a chance to showcase better stuff in the playoffs. That guy can eat his disastrous season that caused the Astros to miss the playoffs.

I'm not even sure he's deserving of a qualified offer.

Curious if Ketch will have any info on the roster plans. I know it won't be a rebuild, but I wonder what moves they might try to make.

They cannot just run it back by adding a back end pitcher and another Sanchez/Urias.

Get rid of Espada, Cintron, Framber (that takes care of itself), Walker, and the training staff

Get Yordan, Paredes, Pena and Hader all back to 100% health this offseason

A season where you lead the division for the vast majority of it (literally until the end of September), and not only blow the division, but also blow the playoffs entirely...

Is hugely disappointing. No other way to put it. There's no excuse for it. Bad management. Piss poor player approaches at the end. They just gave up.
