Been injured a lot but no TJ. At least yet. Great Texas kid from a great family. Can't help but feel the O's organization screwed up diagnosing him and root cause of issues a couple of times. Much like a medical staff we are familiar with.

I can't see how there is another contract in the same hemisphere as that one. There have been some bad and under performing guys under contract but to only play in about 25% of the games seems historically bad...

How have there not been grievances filed and the contract voided? There have been bad contracts over the years, but this guy flat out stopped playing the game of baseball when he got his bag. It's insane.

Bleday is better than Sanchez, Melton and Trammel. Too early to say on Cole. In the short time Cole played I was impressed but once the league gets a full scouting report on him who knows how successful Cole will be.
I would take a flyer on Bleday.

Melton only has 78 career PA. I wouldn't write him completely off just yet. Just like I wouldn't overstate Cole's 52.

I am fine with taking a shot on JJ, but you gotta move some other pieces out first.

I'd love to see MLB Network come up with an all time worst contract ever by position. Kinda like the reverse of an all MLB team. Never happen , as they kiss the players' ass no matter what.

Yeah I don't see how he fits in. Sanchez is a better version of what you'd hope from Bleday plus, as you noted, you have two other young lefties that need experience that provide more defensive value.

In general this is the issue with our lineup. We have a lot of bodies so it isn't clear where exactly you can upgrade. Donovan has been brought up but where is he playing? Think you eject CW to start Isaac at 1B but other than that you are hoping for positive regression and focus on pitching.

Way to go Rob... You took a decent product and handed it off to a platform with dog$#!+ quality. This means my days of watching every Astros game out of market are ove. I'm not paying for whatever ESPN tier they put this on.

I have DirecTV Stream to have ATT Sportsnet / Space City Home Network / whatever it is next month - so I can watch ALL the regular season Astros games. They messed that up with Apple TV last year.

If the Astros had a streaming only option, I would likely change providers. Alas, I do not have that option.

Are you in the viewing area for the Astros? I'm not sure they offer SCHN for people who are outside the viewing area.
