Asking for a few other friends.
Ripping the band aids off at this point is painful, but necessary, IMHO.

He gets another spot back if/when we get the next OFer back and he can jettison Harris.
He got DFA'd yesterday.

You think we're going to immediately put him on the 60? I doubt it. We'll probably wait 3 weeks then retroactively do it.

When is Crane trading him for a rental #3 starter?

I agree! I would rather stomach the three 100+ loss seasons for a chance at a massive run over potentially being the post 2005 World Series Astros.

No. Johnson was DFA'd a day prior.

Season seems pretty much over.
Let Shewmake cook at third, hope Pena is still able to play shortstop and trade Paredes ?

The only hope you have is that Brown, Imai, Hader, Pena, Loperfido, and Meyers all coming back in the somewhat near future.

Right. Lots of ifs, but it just fuels the hope addiction for me.

This clears up the infield logjam temporarily.
This is the infield from last year before CC was acquired. This may actually help Paredes get completely back on track by knowing he will be in the lineup at 3rd almost every day.
This creates a hole. Pena will rehab this weekend, and we'll probably see him in about a week or so. That means we get every day play from Nick Allen or Braden Shewmake.

Valdez found out what was going on but a couple innings too late and I’m sure was PISSED about it! Story got one in between the numbers because of it, I just had to break this down for Cheah couple days ago‼️ https://t.co/opyDW3AhIM pic.twitter.com/n53qoVV6wC

Carlos Correa needs season-ending surgery on a torn tendon in his left ankle. Recovery is 6-8 months, he said.

So the Red Sox and Dodgers were (according to this guy) sending signals from the clubhouse video coordinator, live to base coaches and that's not cheating? Really? I'm pretty sure that's outlawed and we lost draft picks, a GM and a Manager over that.
What hypocrisy.

Actually our best hope is that our division is hot garbage. However, that's only for purposes of making the playoffs. Zero chance this team can do anything if they get to that point.Farmer1906 said:
