Rimowa cabin was my go to for many years living abroad and traveling on long haul flights all the time. Circumvented the planet on a 2 wk business trip with just that piece of luggage and a backpack

Recently picked up the new Peak Design Roller Pro and really happy so far. I hate hard-sided bags that open in the middle, this is a top loader that is part hard shell and part soft shell and has some really cool features. Wheels are replaceable too.

this is my suggestion. There's much more expensive options out there, but these guys have the best price/features/warranty balance that I've seen.
