My wife has a a work conference in Keystone in late August so I'm just taking off work and going with her and we're going to Estes Park on Wednesday when the conference is over and have been to Estes Park several times and love it. I've never been to Keystone though and wondered if any one had some ideas of cool stuff I could do alone on Monday and Tuesday while she is at her conference.

I was looking around online and like the idea of taking the chair up the mountain and hiking some trails and then also maybe paddleboarding or something around the lake area. We're pretty active and like to do physical stuff but I watched video of the mountain bike park because I love to cycle and that was a HARD no for me lol. Even the easy trails I could see me wiping out so no lol. But otherwise I'm open to ideas on how I can kill time at Keystone. Thanks for any info!

I'd recommend taking the short drive to Arapahoe Basin. They have a mountain disk golf course, via ferrata, aerial adventure course, hiking and zip lines. And a few great restaurants.

My kid has been riding the MTB park at Keystone since he was 9 years old and there are plenty of beginner trails.

The golf course is excellent

The town of Keystone kinda sucks for nightlife but Breck is right around the corner and Vail is only 30 minutes. Frisco is also a nice walkaround place. Check if there is a concert at either the ford pavilion in Vail or the Dillon Amphitheatre.
