Broton...

FYI. I don't need to get out of investing. I have done fine and been profitable. As long as I don't make anymore mistakes then I hope to continue to be profitable.
Daddy doesn't give me any money, I sure as hell wish he did.
I think if it nears a buck and breaks under a buck then this thing will keep going to 50 cents. Again, I can do whatever the hell I want. I have plenty of skin in the game. Its been a complete and utter disaster with this company. A huge, huge, huge mistake. We can sit here and talk about "what ifs".... but the reality is that most of this board has lost thousands if not more. And some have sold for a 60% loss. Don't take your frustration out on me because you are down so much money. Take it out on Ray and company. They are sitting pretty, millionaires I might add. For what?? Striking out!

WTH did you think would happen if we didn't hit oil on the first well? A ten yr old could have told you it would fall down well below $2. You clearly had NO IDEA what you were getting into. You bought in 100% based on a guy's post on the internet (who you had never met) and failed to do your own DD. Rookie mistake. Yes, this sucks for anyone who wasn't short HDY, but this was simply a part of the gamble to anyone who knew what they were getting into...but not the end of the world necessarily.

A grown man can never blame another man for what happened to his money unless he was scammed or robbed at gunpoint. You could have easily said "no thanks, i don't like the thought of what could happen if we fail to hit oil" and moved on. I dont know that I have ever seen this level of immaturity on Texags...although I admit, i haven't made many trips to the general board. If you are c/o 2013, it is a little more understandable I guess, but this should teach you that going fwd, no one is responsible for your money except for you...not even the guy who gives you what he believes to be money making investing tips.

Bro,
"exhibit a level of imaginary investing prowess,"

Your statement is spot on in regards to "imaginary prowess". People lie and BS about all the stock they have and how much money they've made. Which is why I don't bother talking about my investments.

The potential was there with hdy. I didnt realize how terrible communucation would be. Lots of shady stuff going on, see lawsuits. I have learned so much after I invested that I dont like. I did my normal dd and got burned. It happens. There are plenty others in fumes with hyper, not just me. I am fortunate I didnt buy too many shares. That said, I hate to lose money....and hate the original thread even more. I am not the only one that got sucked in....fact is, its the worst recommendation in the history of this board.

You said you "learned". Count your loss as tuition and regard it as an investment in future good decisions. This may have been a long term blessing for you.

Quit being negative, look at the positives!
