Exactly this. This trade war can get worse and we might see 5 digit prices again but BTC isn't tanking enough to ruin anyone here anytime soon outside of a WWIII scenario in which we won't give a damn what the price of BTC is anyway.

Stop is important though. I still have support in the $90k range. So failing to hold this setup will have me on the sidelines. If it still takes off, I'll play IBIT options on short term moves.

Fidelity and blackrock and a couple others have launched MM funds onchain. These aren't for retail. And they're on ethereum. The reason is for settlement time, like he hypothesized before. Onchain adoption won't revolve around retail but settlement time behind the scenes.

Thats legitimately useful and not just to prevent wait time but it would increase liquidity in the markets. I usually know what im buying next when I sell something but I gotta wait a day and hope what I'm buying doesnt go up


And applying the same thing to banking in general.

More money doing work at any given time because none is trapped in settlement

It's clear there's a liquidity machine that provides a lot of the ongoing bid. Yesterday saw that machine overwhelmed with selling pressure. Once the last bid was taken out, you saw clearly in most alt coins that there really is no demand. They fell to almost nothing. Stops that were in place all triggered and exasperated the decline. It wasn't until the shorts bought back that it ended.

Moral of the story.. and yes that included BTC and ETH, is that there really isnt the demand you think there is. A move like that only happens when there is no bid.

This will happen in the stock market one day too. March/April will seem tame in comparison.

If using leverage, keep to short-term with tight stops. But honestly.. I wouldn't use leverage after yesterday. That was a warning shot.

This is just not true at all, and these events have happened once or twice a year for the past 10 years.

We'll move on higher, as usual. Yea a bunch of ****coins will fall off but that is also the usual.

I have held BTC through $20k to $3k and $69k to $16k. Yesterday was a popcorn fart. Tough on "crypto" for sure but a speed bump for BTC.
