I remember driving by that house as a kid.

Lazy wiring in many rooms, I'm sure its a unique challenge in a log home but definitely looks like a home built house and they weren't an expert in log home construction.

The kitchen countertop and backsplash, and I use those words loosely here, were the most odd to me.

Kitchen counter and backsplash was the worst.

This ugly thing just sold again. This time with a full remodel.

That someone listed it for $700k+ for a year is amazing.
Final sale price was $475k. Which is ony 200k over the next highest sale in the neighborhood.

Listing's changed after a sale and it's just some rendered new build. Looks like a builder bought it to nuke the place and start over.

They did an awful lot of dressing up that place with cheap materials. I guess eventually the right person finally came along but that place is still pretty awful!

This one isn't a total abomination like some posted here but more of a commentary of how freaking boring current trends are and how lame the flipper game is. This home was owned by an older fella in my neighborhood(bought the home in 1988) and they moved to a retirement place in May. The old listing shows very dated finishes and lots of maintenance needed but a house that looked like a warm place to live. It was priced accordingly and now thanks to the fippers, we have a grey/white hellscape interior. So freaking boring!

they probably could have used a little more contrast, but I've seen much worse from flippers. With good furniture and decorating, that place could look nice.

Some of these places look like hospitals with how open and anesthetic they appear.
