Asking for a friend of mine who isn't an Aggie or knows TexAgs.

They live in the DFW area (Fate) and is on the verge of losing their home. They have an 18 yr old son who just graduated high school. He is special needs, but has battled all sorts of illnesses his whole life. Was told that he would be lucky to make it to 18. Mission accomplished! Unfortunately the scans from last week came back with bad news, cancer is back. He's a graduate of Royse City High school.

They have battled this year giving their son the treatment and care that he needed but it's put them way behind. He is trying to negotiate with the mortgage company to get an extension of sorts to come up with what they need to so they can keep the house.

Is there someone in the DFW area I can point him to so he can reach out, ask questions about his situation? Maybe guide him in the right direction.

Can pm me to get contact information. This week I was able to get a foreclosure scheduled for June paused on a property in Ft Bend county. Each situation is unique and they can be difficult to resolve. I'm in North Texas even though I practice across the state.

Agilaw, I'm not able to message you but if you want to shoot me an email at bgc.tinsley @ gmail I can pass on some contact info. I found out he was able to secure an attorney and they were able to delay the foreclosure which will buy him some time. As of now sounds like they will be working through some options.

If they already have an attorney, wouldn't pass anything along. If they reach out again and are looking for more assistance, let me know.
