Wondering about building a 2 bedroom cottage on about 0.5 to 2 acres in the hill country within 45 minutes of San Antonio. Need water, electricity, etc and wonder how much and what kind to get - prefab, stick built, modular, and total expenses for a mid-price 900 square foot home. Don't know where to start. Naively hoping total costs could be under 200K.

Maybe just a smaller neighborhood home in San Antonio but how safe would the neighborhood be in a 200K home? Fine with a small town home if it's within 45 minutes of San Antonio or Borne.
