That is a solid hit, but it is no "lay me on the stretcher I'm done for" hit. Our QB takes far worse hits than that and not only does McGee not need a stretcher; he jumps right back up and yaps at the defender and then takes the next snap and scores a TD (see last years tu game).

He didn't break a leg or have a serious spinal injury. He had a pinched nerve (maybe) - could have been said to protect his wuzziness. But even a pinched nerve in the shoulder, you can stand up and walk your butt to the sideline.

SG needs to get the sand out of his Colt and lighten up. Mcgee has taken shots a lot harder and a lot dirtier then the one McCoy took. Don't really hear too much crying from the "rednecks" about those.

Not to discount McGee's toughness, but didn't Switzer himself say playing as an option QB doens't compare the physical beating and risk of injury of standing in the pocket and taking a direct shot?

And McGee's never been blindsided like that.....when was the last time McGee was the recipient of a truly "cheap shot"?

Its obvious to anyone whose brain hasn't been poisoned by pesticides and wool dye that Colt had to be carted off due to the cumulative effect of:

a) injury from the KSU game
b) dirty, after the whistle hit on penultimate drive
c) clean hit under the chin on the ultimate drive

If either a or b don't happen, Colt doesn't leave the game. He's taken hits like (c) during the course of the year without problem.

Figures that a BoyNamedSue would be sticking up for Cart McCry. Get over it SuzieQ. It's a pinched nerve in the shoulder, not a broken neck. Did you notice Cart McCry raising his left hand and giving ya'll the finger as he was carted off? He wasn't paralyzed! At most he had numbness in his right arm and pain on his right side. HornChoice - No he was carted off because he is too big of a wuss to stand up and walk over to his sideline, watch his backup finishes the game (1 more play) and then have to walk to his lockerroom looking at his fans in stunned silence mixed with a smattering of boos. He choose to play the "I'm injured so give me a standing ovation" card instead of the truth which is I threw 3 ints and got my ass pounded today and I don't want to have to face the crowd or the media afterwards.

Frankly Man, I don't think Colt will be our starting QB next year. Not because of anything any silly aggie says or does, but because of the talent waiting behind him and coming in (Snead, Harris, Chiles, Brantley). We'll see in Spring, but its gonna be a real battle.
