US gets all the **** for being a 'boys club' but Harry Hall has outperformed quite a few members of the Euro team this year, and he wouldn't get picked over Lowry or Fitzpatrick. It's the beauty of having your 13-18 guys be players normal golf fans have never heard of.

Cantlay had been fine outside of the majors. This is just his second finish outside of the top 15 in regular season tour events since the Masters, and he was basically playing for nothing the last 2 days with everything resetting next week.

American ones are just so so in my opinion. Of the three I like day 2 shirt the best.

Day 2 is definitely the best, but those look awful. Danny is right, it looks like we are back in the 90s. We should definitely try to move on from Ralph Lauren.

I would say the 80's. You can pick up those styles in just about any thrift store near a golf community in the country for $5/each. All cotton!

Good to see Scottie and Henley playing together today (and maybe a few more times this weekend).

On one hand, I don't think "they played well together at the President's Cup" should be a reason to pair Scottie/Henley in foursomes. The Ryder Cup is a different animal and I want Scottie out there with someone who can handle that first match pressure on Friday. Europe will be sending Rory/Fleetwood out first to set the tone, so Scottie needs someone who can thrive in that arena and match Fleetwood on the evens (Rory and Scottie showdown on the odds).

But I do think it's possible Henley is objectively the right guy. Alot will come down to advanced stats about their respective games and the course that I don't have much insight to. But when I think about the possibilities of the guys who can handle that stage with Scottie/Rory/Fleetwood:

JT is the obvious one. No one loves the Ryder Cup stage more than him. If he's playing well, he could be great in that role. But I also think we might need him to carry the odd holes in a different foursomes group (with someone like Griffin).

Spaun has demonstrated the most on big stages this year. I think he could be up for it as a quiet assassin type.

But Henley could excel there too. He's quietly been the second best American player this year.

That would be fun. I'm all about putting Scottie with the guy who gives him the best chance to win in each format and if Bryson is that in four ball, LFG. Would be electric. I'm not sure the drunk afternoon crowds in NYC could handle it.

I was kinda thinking a fun role for Bryson that would compliment the team is to be our afternoon four ball tone-setter. So he'd sit foursomes each day but lead us off in the afternoon and get the crowds amped. It might be tough to put Scottie with him cuz Scottie might need a little extra time to turn around after his morning match. But I'm not opposed to it.

TBH, if Keegan does pick himself (and I still hope he doesn't), it should he for those two four ball matches with Bryson. THAT would be electric.

Keegan talking about how hard it is for him to focus on playing when all he can think about is pairings and other team related stuff makes it hard to think he should pick himself.
