If the checks keep cashing that's a timely p6 for AK. $650k for the individual + his share of T1 in the team money.

Once LIV folds or does whatever it does I'm intrigued to see what his next move is. He's ratings gold if his game continues to improve.

He has no status on any tour so unless he wants to start grinding away at Q school I bet he fades away in to obscurity again.

I would bet he'll get some sponsor invites to tournaments. DP or possibly PGAT. Once LIV goes kaput why wouldn't a tournament do it? He wasn't a PGAT member. He didn't didnt sue because he had nothing to sue for. If I'm a Lowe level event I'm finding a way to get him into my tournament, or at least a shot to.

Sure an invite is a possibility but I dont see him being a regular on any tour after LIV goes away.

I agree at this point, but my very minor point is there is no doubting his results this year. I had him pegged as a pure circus act for LIV, but considering a few of his results this year it's much more than that.

Which tour stops have a health care related sponsor? Pair him with Artie Lange in a pro-am and leverage it as a "don't do mounds of coke or this can happen to your face" campaign.

This is after an edit? Goodness, it's just golf.

After two straight missed cuts at major championships, Bryson DeChambeau is turning toward science (shocking, we know) to get ready for the upcoming U.S. Open. DeChambeau recently led a group that acquired Sportsbox AI, a golf training app that uses mobile phone-driven 3D motion capture technology and interactive AI for coaches and players to analyze their swings. DeChambeau told the Katie Miller Podcast that Sportsbox AI is part of his training now: "I'll be at the U.S. Open with it, and then past that, I'm really excited to showcase this to the world. We're going to be lowering the barriers to entry with golf. … It's part of this virtuous ecosystem that I'm helping build right now." DeChambeau also told the host he believes space aliens are real and the footage of Alan Shepard hitting a golf shot on the moon is not. Because, well, "science."

Reportedly LIV looking for investors to put in 250 million. This is after PIF dumped in 5 to 8 billion.

that would hardly even cover the costs of their course build-outs at $20-25 million per tournament. Things are going to be scaled down for sure going forward

LIV only existed as a charity. Thats why the arguments in their favor never made a lick of sense.

It's virtually assured they will either fold or be a shadow of their former selves now that they have to exist on the revenue they actually raise.

Oh boy

LIV's star golfers are planning a rescue mission for the crisis-hit rebel league.

They are considering a proposal to pump in 150million of their own money to keep LIV afloat next year and to give chief executive Scott O'Neil much-needed breathing space as he chases new sponsors.

The players feel that giving back some of the many millions they earned while Saudi Arabia poured more than 4billion into the venture will also act as a show of faith in LIV's future.

Many of the breakaway circuit's big-hitters are said to be on board, including USA star Bryson DeChambeau and British Ryder Cup legends Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood.

Spaniard Jon Rahm is another player whose support is regarded as vital for the plan to succeed.

In return for contributing towards the 2027 fighting fund, the players will be given a stake in a new-look LIV, which is likely to be trimmed from 14 tournaments down to ten.

This has to be a bluff to try and get a favorable return for those involved. I can't imagine anyone throwing their money at this.

If you list "big hitters" as Lee Westwood and Ian Pulter in 2026, your league is doomed.

$150 million would what, cover just the purses for half a season?

It's funny……first the CEO said they would be profitable in 10 years.

Then sugar daddy pulled their funding and now it's 2 years.

But he's out trying to supposedly raise $250 million, which wouldn't even keep the league a float for a year.

And now the players that went to LIV just to cash a fat check all of a sudden want to put up $150 million of their own money to keep LIV going for a few more months?

I was watching baseball on FS1 this evening and the bottom line scroll showed LIV Korea. From there it listed every player and their tee time, which I had to laugh because I had forgotten that they do a shotgun start so it was 12:15am after each player's name.

So Bryson went from demanding $500 mill to stay on LIV to offering money out of his own pocket to stay on LIV? Color me skeptical.

He is incapable of admitting he's wrong. He's all in on the team golf concept that no one cares for, especially for an individual sport like golf. He's going to go down in flames along with LIV.

He's trying hard to make it seem like he has other alternatives besides the PGAT to create leverage. He has such a big ego that he considers it a privilege for the PGAT to have him as a member.

Hope the PGAT gives him the finger and wish him well as a content creator on Youtube.

This is my read as well. He's trying to play every side of the fence because it potentially provides him leverage.

He burned a lot of bridges when he left and he knows the Tour will likely want its pound of flesh. He's trying to create leverage so he can negotiate that down to a half-pound when he inevitably comes back.

However, LIV's next biggest star, Jon Rahm, is following a very different tack. In his Monday press conference at this week's LIV Golf Andalucia event, Rahm revealed that unlike DeChambeau, he's not involved in LIV's investor search.

Not only does he not want to be involved, but Rahm also explained why it would be a bad idea for LIV's business leaders to include him in investor meetings.

Why Rahm isn't helping LIV find investors: 'I know nothing about business'
