I'm searching for a company that could level my yard with sand, do regular mowing/leaf pickup/fertilizing/weed control/etc, and build a stone border around my flower bed and some trees. The stonework is optional though. I mostly need a good yard maintenance company. Thank you!

Check out a company called scenic greens. Admittedly, I have not personally used them yet, but I did have them come quote a big job for me that would involve removing a large tree, building a retaining wall, and doing a big extension on my driveway and another walkway. They've been great to work with.

My neighbor used them for a similar large project very recently and I can vouch for their work and he was really pleased with the process.

I don't really know about their basic lawn maintenance services.

+1 for no emerald lawns. Also, no online presence isn't bad, it keeps their overhead low.

What is wrong with Emerald Lawns?

Can they not even do good work with something like a top dressing?

I got a quote from Scenic Greens to apply top dressing to level my lawn (their recommendation instead of using sand), and it was $3100! That seems ridiculous. Emerald quoted me about $1000 for top dressing.

I just found out it includes top dressing, aeration, and fertilizing. But that still seems way too high.

I would trust them to top dress, but not apply anything to your yard.

I used Miracle for my monthly treatment for just under a year and a half. They play the constant upsell game. I fired them after my yard was overtaken with spurge. In 30 yrs I never had spurge in my yard or dead patches. In just 6 months after, my yard has rebounded after visiting Rainbow Gardens on Bandera Rd. I was set up with the appropriate fertilizer, pre-emergent and another to kill the spurge. My yard has literally never looked so good.
I wasn't impressed with the people they were sending to my property either.
