Figured it was finally time to crack this thing open. My last bottle of small format BCBS
How was it? 12ish years old feels like something is happening
Still really solid with great flavor. As you might expect the carbonation is minimal but I've found that to not be too big a deal with high abv barrel aged beers. Except for hair of the dog stuff, that was always noticeably lacking carbonation.

Burlington is a cool place. Would love to make it back there and the rest of Vermont someday.

The convenience store at the resort had Cigar City. I've had Jai Lai before and liked it, but Florida Man was new to me. Also very tasty.

Excellent. I had Florida Man last summer and wasn't overly impressed, so I didn't mention it. Maybe I had some old cans. Glad you like it.

Had mine out a year ago today...no impact at all and I drink primarily Hazy IPAs and heavy stouts.
Had one of these at a Grapefruit Leagur Astros vs. Phillies game. It was 4/5. All the craft beers we tried in Florida were quite good.

Actias Luna triple hazy IPA from Parish Brewing. At 9% I would consider it just a double but I don't make the rules. It's delicious nonetheless.

First two Jester King cans that I liked a lot.
Missed the Pinthouse again this week for the third consecutive week. Had a couple of Toppling Goliath favorites, with plans to hit the Pinthouse Brewery Saturday.
Cracked the last Double Citra canned 14 days ago fresh from the brewery. Really liked the Fresh Drops and Gold Steps from Pinthouse at lunch, but Hill Farmstead is a different level. Happy Friday.

On another note, anyone going to GABF next week? I'm toying with the idea of running up there either Friday or Saturday. Going through the brewery/pour list looks to be a shell of its former self but I've got a buddy who wants to go. Honestly the tap list at hops and pie almost looks to be more appealing than the festival itself.
