Forgot to post my saturday pics, was impressed with the selection at Guadalupe in NB, then went to Boerne for their oktoberfest and hit Free Roam and Tusculum. A good beer and good football day.

Are you referring to The Veil in Richmond, Va? If so, yes, great beer. Was there twice years ago but it fell off of my radar as I haven't driven that far south since kids graduated college. Here in PA, never saw it in stores until just recently and picked up a four pack of White Ferrari that was freshly made. Excellent.
Yep, that's the one! I try to always grab at least a 4 pack of theirs when I'm at the beer store. I'll look for White Ferrari next time.

And some crap news… Lagunitas has announced that Willettized will not be brewed again for the foreseeable future. No more room for barrel storage after their Chicago location closed.
Guy at my local gas station with great beer selection suggested this one. Really damn good. And great way to carb load pre-race, right?

So last time I was at GABF was exactly 10 years ago. Weldwerks was a tiny ass line where I was doing laps doing laps for juicy bits. Now it's by far the longest line in the festival.
Pizza place in downtown Leesburg about 10 minutes from my house occasionally has Weldworks. Wish it had it more often.
The only (potentially decent) choice at Dead Fish Grill. Was actually quite good.

I drank a lot of Chivoperro IPA while in Panama. I limit my IPA drinking to when I am on vacation because of all the carbs and calories.
Set a personal record for the Ten Miler by 7 minutes today (1:34:58)! Celebratory beers later with dinner.

We've had it in DFW for 18-24 months but still hard to find unless a random TW has it.
Pumpkinator day at Saint Arnold's. Got a case of regular Pumpkinator as well. They also have tattoo artists out here. Bart Simpson as a raven incoming.

Had a draft Lawson's "Little Sip" at Blackback Pub in Stowe. That's all they had from Lawson's on tap. Even that was really good.

I've never seen Double Sunshine anywhere besides the brewery, so I always get a bit when I go. Sip and Little Sip are everywhere around me, even normal grocery stores and gas stations, so Sip is currently my everyday beer. The brewery is very nice, with a good vibe, so I recommend going.
At Alchemist now. The hand pulled Heady Topper is really good. Very different mouthfeel than a normal one. One pic right after pulling, the other when I got to my table.
Also seeing a very niche show at the brewery from a not well known New England folk singer that sings original Halloween songs this time of year. He also did the can art for Heady Topper and Focal Banger.

Steve, Did you ever get a chance to try some Modest Man beers? Sis is flying down for Thanksgiving. I'm going to requisition part of her luggage and have her bring me a couple 4packs.

Ya… they were in Keene NH but recently moved their operation to their satellite brewery in South Portland. I think I read it was because of a better business climate in Maine.

Someone mentioned whiteferrari earlier. Superb beer!
I am at Doc Ponds now. Always go here when I am in Stowe, as they are connected to maybe the best restaurant in VT, and they have always had Hill Farmstead Edward on draft.
