It's mainly the 27 first half points (now that the half is over) that I'm referring to. Good riddance
Looks like Georgetown scored 0 FG in the last 8 minutes of the half and still lead.
And Maryland was in the Bonus around the 12 minute mark also

I dont know if this board would have survived a year of offense where the weapon is Payne makes 15 free throws but I think it wouldve at least been some entertainment seeing the meltdown.

It looked like we would just go through the motions with simple concepts on offense. It was so frustrating to watch

At some point he will have them competitive but this looks all to familiar. It's no coincidence that the shooting % is awful imo. Ball movement of course … poor . Defense not there yet but it will be eventually in terms of intensity. Buzz absolutely needed and still needs a major reset wrt offensive philosophy .
Buzz is a good coach but clearly not a great coach . He will have to have an epiphany on offensive philosophy to make the jump from good to great imo.
Chances at him making it 5 yrs as Maryland hbbc… less than 50% imo.

He's too set in his ways. Only way out is going to be him finding himself a new gig before they can him.

Yup, no way Maryland fans have the patience to handle multiple years of him building the foundation he wants. I know he wanted out, and Maryland is a big name program, but I really can't think of a worse match between coach/play style and fanbase.

I don't really think he wanted out . He wanted a commitment that the powers that be weren't willing to give and in retrospect they probably were right . He found it elsewhere . Probably worked out best for both Buzz (financially ) and A& M basketball. Only time will tell.

This is a fun game to watch.
If a "basketball school" like Maryland has a crowd that weak we should just stop worrying about filling up Reed until we get to conference. This is a marquee game in basketball country and that crowd is weak
45 fouls and a 2:30 hour game with a minute left. Seems very familiar.
