Weirdest thing about game: that Vegas favored the AGS, just was hard to understand


Silver lining: maybe a small reduction in ridiculous revisionist posts about having no offense past few years and also reduction in wild predictions of scoring this year


Takeaway: hideous performance but Bucky warned us it may happen early. As hard as it was to watch, it didn't bother me much since it's the 3rd game, first versus good opponent, first on road. I'd be more concerned if those types performances stack, I do want to see signs of coaching in that we get better as season progresses. I'm in for the long (multi year) haul with a new coach, and recruiting shows signs of stepping in which will change roster in years 2 and 3. Also, Isaacs still getting into post injury playing shape and no Mgbako yet.


All in with Macmillan and I'll be at next two Friday games.

I counted 5 possessions where if we make the extra pass, we have a wide open 3. And I'm not even counting kickouts. I don't like the result, but I'm not concerned as we just don't have the chemistry yet.

Plus, if you look at regression to the mean, most players shot well below their past shooting percentages. I imagine our shooting will not look like that every game. I imagine that's the floor.

Our half-court offense wasn't ready for prime time. But neither was the half court defense or transition defense. When we can't force turnovers, we need an improved Plan B.

I meant the first team at this point of the year. That's the team that lost to Harvard, Fairfield, and Temple and had single digit wins against Texas Southern, A&M Corpus, Monroe, and Troy.

Did end up winning 6 of 8 at the end though.

Was a serious ass kicking . Might help Bucky focus the players more , might break confidence , probably somewhere in between. I'll be there to see the next chapter vs UCF.

Absolute dumpster fire, but I'm hoping it was just a bad game. I watched us miss 3-4 put-backs on one possession, and no matter how bad we actually are, I'm confident we're not THAT bad.
