This is about as good a draw as we could have hoped for. Mid major 7th, we avoid one of the 1 seed juggernauts, and OKC is an easy drive for all the Dallas Ags.

They play elite defense and rebound. Those are 2 of our biggest bugaboos.

We were going to face a 1 or 2 seed. I guess Purdue or Iowa St might be a better matchup but we were going to be a big underdog no matter who we drew.

The conversation on that being at the level it has been the last couple years, they may have felt the need to show it did matter to quell some of that chatter. And it was the right decision.

Yeah, St Mary's has size and can shoot but we shall see how it turns out. I believe Luke said this is team he didn't want to see in the 1st round on the radio last week. I don't know much about them. I only looked at team stats so far

St Mary's runs a lot through their 7'2 center, kinda exactly how tu plays. Their back up center is 7'1. Not much size on the perimeter. Their 3 main guards love to shoot the 3, at 41, 40, and 37 percent.

However they only play 6 guys over 15 minutes. Let's see if they're ready for a full court 40 minute game against us!
