Somebody decided the traditional ATM logo was too plain. I've heard it said that RC took part in this but who knows?
Either way, I was disgusted when it debuted and thought that the outrage would cause its disappearance in a hurry.
Boy was I wrong. I can't believe that crappy thing is still around.
It looks so bad on just about everything.
Apparel, television screens, websites, etc. Zero consistency with it. Often times it looks like half a logo. As if the embroidery machine or computer just broke in the middle of making the logo.
Such a Mickey Mouse logo. So amateur and frankly embarrassing.

This is the last A&M cap I ever bought (prior to the 2001 season). I hate that they don't look like this any more.

Oh, I also loathe the bevel.

Some more detail.

The bevel itself is poorly designed.

First, it's only in the T, so too lazy or stupid to do all three letters

Then, In the T itself it's not complete. The whole concept of the bevel is to give an illusion of a third dimension. When you have ass it, you just get a stupid line with angles at the ends.

Finally, the tceh tards had the bevel everywhere. We didn't even do an original and theirs is at least completed.

Sigh, plus most bevel haters like myself want them to bring back Texas Aggies to Apparel and the EndZones at Kyle.

The OTF ones do have the bevel. But NE makes ones without as well for fans.

Not against the bevel by any stretch. Just saying, there are ones without, if that's your personal preference.

FYI, New Era hats are like a crap shoot. I find them to vary up or down by at least 1/8 and often have to try on a few before I find one that fits to size.

I don't think this is the positive many are saying it is.
