I did. But, again, they can vary so greatly in fit. I only got 1, the cream/white. It's all they currently have available. I got a Block T and TAM OTF maroon in regulare crown too. But will exchange if/when the low crown version are released unles they fit great. I will report back once they get here. I am hoping stores in B/CS get them in by this weekend.

On another point (and its a me problem which I get), I am also a little annoyed they did this mid season. After buying a few adi versions this year, going back and getting all new versions mid season is a bit much. If these do not work, I might just return what doesn't and leave it at that. It's a lot of money! Plus, as said, the adi caps fit great and were readily available to be tried on to find the correct fit. If these New Era versions remain mostly an online availability, I am getting a little tired of buying a bunch of caps to find the correct fit. NE makes a great product. But they really need to get better at standardizing their sizes. Every 7 1/8, for instance, should literally fit the same. The adi caps do! Maybe a SLIGHT variation but its very very small. As has been said, NE can be off by a very large amount. And for a company who's main thing is making hats, you'd think they would have this down by now. Just my 2 cents.

I bought a New Era on-field cap when I arrived at campus in '89. Wish I had bought 2 and kept one for only "formal" occasions (non-outdoors events), but that one lasted a good 8 years before it really couldn't be worn for anything other than actually playing. I still have it, but I've cleaned it hundreds of times and, due to shrinkage, it doesn't fit.

New Era has, at least off and on, sold the 5950 for many years. I got another one about 8-10 years ago, but the sizing is way off and you can tell production was shipped to the cheapest factory they could get them made at. I haven't purchased a New Era product since. If the new ones are of a better quality, I'll give them another chance.

And I'm with you on the low profile, the only MLB hats I'll buy are the low profile versions

Just got the Block T cap. Bought from 12th man shop.com actually shipped from the MSC Bookstore address, not Fanatics.

It's has a high crown. Be aware. Darker, deeper maroon. 7 1/4 and 7 1/8 fit well each on me. It the 1/4 fits the best. I've included a side by side pic of the regular on field adi cap and the New Era to see color difference. I hope they have a low crown, but I can easily make this work.

Somebody decided the traditional ATM logo was too plain. I've heard it said that RC took part in this but who knows?

It looks so bad on just about everything.
Apparel, television screens, websites, etc. Zero consistency with it. Often times it looks like half a logo. As if the embroidery machine or computer just broke in the middle of making the logo.
Such a Mickey Mouse logo. So amateur and frankly embarrassing.


Ive never heard a single Aggie even discuss this outside of texags. It's just another weird texags infatuation

I hope it's just a weird depiction but yeah they do seem very short but wide in these images. The real ones looked pretty sweet though.

My first NE hat. And pretty much the only low pro one I like and my first mesh one as well.

It's solid. Been wearing last few days. But nothing beats the King to me. '47 low pros. (at least in comfort)

These have fallen out of stock everywhere it appears. You can find some, limited in sizes, online but nothing in Aggleland Outfitters, Maroon U, etc. on campus. Looking for the official game hat in New Era that has the ATM on the front and the state of Texas logo on the back. The ones that say "Aggies" are left overs before this deal was made and not the on field version. I just like that version better is the only reason I am looking for it. Anyone seen it anywhere?

Edit: As soon as I post this it appears New Era online re-stocked them.
