Unfortunately LSU and Arkansas are the clear favorites. Whoever wins that game Saturday night has a great chance to win it all. LSU has the two best starting pitchers in the field so my guess is they win it all (also who I picked in my bracket)

Agreed. LSU has the best 1-2 punch out of the teams remaining, but Kade Anderson didn't do well at all against West Virginia. My guess is Arkansas will score enough to win that one.

I'd rather see any other team in America (besides tu) win this thing, but Arky. Anyone who has given themselves a stupid azz nickname like "Omahogs" needs to go 2 and Q. They're 10th in overall appearances and never won a title. Why in the hell would you act like a powerhouse? Oh, and their fans are UNBEARABLE. Live up here and y'all would understand my hatred.

Thank God my dad took me to an A&M/Arky game in the 80's and I decided I liked the maroon team with a badass defense, helmets and marching band.

The Louisville fans deserve a title after getting their 2013 basketball one stripped. Can't imagine how upset I'd be if the Aggies won a big 3 title and had it stripped

Anderson only allowed 1 ER, 3 hits, 1 BB through 5 innings and then WVU hit him pretty well in the 6th. That game started at 1pm so it's possible the heat got to him. Arkansas definitely has the offense to beat him though.
WVU had some success against Eyanson in game 2 as well.

Sorry stripped or not doesn't mean it didn't happen. Just like with Michigan football, even if the NCAA says they are stripped of the title doesn't mean they didn't win, sure you can put an * by it but doesn't change history. I would take a title in the big 3 even if it was stripped years later due to some BS by the NCAA.

LSU - Fans are tough on visiting teams, actually down right mean. Intimidating for the guest.

I expect LSU to be in the championship game and honestly, win it all.

Next year, I think we will be in the conversation as we make it to the final 8 teams.

That LSU-Arkansas game may be the most important of the tournament. Thinking back to last year, FSU had UT beat but for a terrible call by the umpire. If UT takes a loss in that game, even if they make it out of that bracket, their pitching would have been stretched for the finals.To my mind, LSU's only chance is to get through bracket play undefeated. Once you get past Anderson and Eyanson, they are a different team. But, if they stay in the winners bracket, they may not need much more than those two.

Don't disagree with this, hopefully the emergence of Casan Evans stabilizes the 3rd starter role. Like in '23, you never know who from the staff is gonna step up

LSU is extremely pedestrian when they face decent pitching. Arky is the heavy favorite and it'd be a massive choke if they don't win it all.

I thought this thread was going to be about the Jell-O shot challenge and was like, it's already over before it even begins.

As far as baseball I'm cheering for Coastal but I'm cool with LSU winning it as well bc I have many LSU friends and I also know this will really bother longhorns bc LSU is just continuing to cement they are the best college baseball program in history.

Oregon State has a lot of talent. 5 guys projected in top 4-5 rounds. UCLA has the probable 2026 #1 overall pick and aome other good younger talent. Both will give the SEC schools a tough time.

Agreed, Texas then LSU.

LSU heads far, far too big.

Arkansas is fine. They almost deserve it.

Coastal all the way for me personally. But I do wish LSY and Arkansas had landed on opposite sides and it was a SEC natty...again.

I can't stand Swamp Kitty. But dammit, those SOB's know how to get to Omaha and win it.

They were my pick to win it all when the field was announced and I'll stick to it. I would like to be very wrong and I'm another in the camp hoping we see Coastal v Murray St for the title.
