While I agree that there is a maximum disruption in the play of the game, never underestimate the tigah's ability to be rowdy at any hour.

I'm sorry. A 10:00 a.m. CDT game helps or hurts no-one. Both pitchers are screwed. That's a lot of time in the bullpen before practice on the mound.
Honestly, LSU has the better bullpen pitching. I would expect some innings from Chase Shore from LSU.

It hurts LSU the most because Eyanson could have saved their bullpen and got 8 or even 9 innings to win this game…now they are going to start burning bullpen arms that they were hoping to save for their third game. If they end up losing they are in real trouble needing to win three in a row after already going into their best bullpen arms

I picked lsu to win this year's CWS. But the rain delay has changed my thinking.
lsu strength is their two best starting pitchers. The esipn talking heads have said

I didn't pick them for this reason. If they get out of this game, I'll change my mind, but they don't have what they need to get out of the loser's bracket and win a championship.

They have no (very little) clue. These storms blow up, break apart, move north, South, East, West at their own whims. Hail, tornadoes, lightning... It's all just amazing and unpredictable.

Yeah so far every update pushes the rain chances later in the day, and radar looks good for the rest of the morning and early afternoon
