They don't like the Tigers. Neither do we.

To be fair, "we're not really scholars" is fully applicable to all who attend LSU, not just athletes. https://t.co/agIFSeEWlz

Coach Schnall cracks a joke and everyone in the media room is too intimidated to laugh. This is my favorite type of baseball coach pic.twitter.com/r0lPcpAd91

If you listen to the entire interview it's the old, "we can't control what they do, we can only control what we do, so we're focused on us, not them" type quote. ... With a little awkwardness and sidelong glances thrown in.OrangeAlert said:

It is a great answer if they win. If CC goes 0-2 in the CWS Finals, that quote will be played over and over and over and over.LB12Diamond said:

No it won't, because everyone will have moved on.Quote:

They've gotten a little salty and talky over the past week. Let's see if they can back it up.

The head baseball coach at Coastal Carolina, Kevin Schnall, has a base salary of $375,768 per year, according to USA Today. He also can earn additional bonuses based on team performance, and in 2025, he has already earned $222,500 in bonuses. Therefore, his total compensation for the year will be significantly higher than his base salary.
This is the way!
Yeah, try hiring with that if you're in the SEC.Quote:

In fact they are 26-0 since April 22 when they lost to College of Charleston on a Tuesday. That's some kind of run to close out a season. I hope they have two more left in 'em to finish 28-0 or at worst 28-1.W said:

8-0 in the postseason

The media loves to generate clicks. Anything creating confliction is always amplified. What do you think will be the follow-up to almost every story next year when they announce the preseason #1 baseball team and their path to the CWS? What do you think the lead story will be when they announce the brackets and overall national #1 softball seed' region. Sadly, bad things do NOT go away quickly.LB12Diamond said:OrangeAlert said:It is a great answer if they win. The scary part, my guess is you actually believe this.
Only people that remember #2 is #2LB12Diamond said:
4:30 AM rambling brought to you by Orange Alert.
Dude, simmer down. Not even sure what you were trying to state in that mess.
Let me help, no one is thinking about that press conference. No one.
If LSU wins this one, all that will be noted is LSU's dominance, number 8, greatest program, etc. Thats's it.
No one remembers number two or anything else.
