Packing for a move today and came across my beloved First American Bank batting helmets. I don't even remember the name of the guy that owned that bank, but damn could he market (these were give-aways at Olsen). Have had them over 30 years. Used to have a gray one with maroon aTm as well, but I gave that one to my nephew many years ago.

I've also come across about 20 baseballs with all sorts of autographs on them.

I have one of those but did not know if it is a First American. Checked. It is!

No idea how many nights and for how long they gave away the helmets. Heck, could have been just that one game so we were both there! Kinda cool to think about that all these years later.

Also have a small baseball bat, ~18" long. Pizza Hut on it. Probably got them both around the same time just different giveaway nights.

I think Don Adam Owned that bank.

That's it. I just couldn't remember the name. I never met the man or heard a kind word about him from those who did, but he knew how to market in Aggieland. I know he started American Momentum Bank before I moved away.

Don Adam became super wealthy after his bank was acquired by Citibank.
