After looking at some more pics, looks like a mixed bag. Maybe the transfers are swinging their old stuff?

Just watched Coach Ford's press conference and enjoyed it a lot. As usual, I should say. Will not really go into it because you guys can watch it and judge for yourself but as of now the only set positions are KK at SS and all the pitchers. Every other position is up in the air.

They mentioned 23 on the roster. It was at 24 after the last transfer. I noted that comments during and after the game vs ULM it was mentioned that Maya Bland was not on the roster that was handed out. Why not? Since the game I have been watching for the next 'Get to know' press release to come out because the last one was #9 Hailey. They have been going by jersey number, starting with #00 Piper, so the next ones would be #10 Maya and then #11 Paisle. If they skip #10 it says something.

Today the newest 'Get to know' came out and it is #11 Paisle. They skipped #10. Hmmmm. Anyone know what happened?

Note that I have also wondered why the roster page has not been updated yet. Perhaps it is related.

So I asked around and it seems there is no team bat brand this year. Each girl can swing whichever she prefers. Which I assume means they can also sign NIL deals with a bat company if they can get one. Rawlings is a team glove sponsor.

I noticed Mya switched from LS last Friday to Mizuno tonight. Mizuno seemed the most common but certainly not exclusive. Edwards had LS tonight. Seems some experimenting going on. Or maybe so NIL deals have been signed.

The NIL part is pure speculation on my part but if the team has allowed the players to swing whatever they want I assume the can get paid to represent a brand if the opportunity arises.

We have been all Wilson on the glove side the last few years. I assume we will get a team deal at some point as the benefits are usually too good to pass up.

Yes, Wilson has been the glove for a while. I know when Kelbi was there, that's what all her gloves were.

That is the SEC bye week. Normal 2 home tournaments plus one Florida and one California is my understanding

Those Rawlings Heart of the Hide are pretty sweet. I get that some hands fit better in the A2000 but both are quality gloves. Those custom Aggie gloves look spectacular

I know the package increases are tough to swallow. The flip side is in spite of the sudden end last season was fun and I am excited to see what happens this year. For weal (and less frequent woe) my wife and I work entirely different schedules or I would come down for games. Just not as fun without her!

WOW!!! The athletic department found my sport.

Our two seats in 106 went from $350 to $520. That's a 48% increase. Pretty steep but we really enjoy this team and staff.

We enjoy it a lot too which is why we're on the fence rather than just walking away. I would point out though that your tickets went from $350 to $720 when you add in the new $100 per seat donation.

Good point. I completely forgot that there was no donation required last year.
