Oh and great job running off the sips Friday night, 203

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!
We would get better recruits if we had a Waffle House in CS.

I agree, TOOTBLANs and the like should get stupid.

MVP all weekend for the kid who screwed up a couple Fridays ago was a nice touch.

One year in the 00s, Baylor 3rd baseman had something like 3-4 errors in a game against us. The Raggies started chanting "Hit the ball to 3rd! Hit the ball to 3rd!" That's was fun!

Because they are miserable jerks. 203 ran them off before they could cause problems

Its a family atmosphere. They probably hurt that poor 3rd baseman's feelings.

I've enjoyed when Sawyer Farr has been playing, they sing his walk up song (Stacy's mom) and replace Stacy with whatever the pitcher's name is.

Can we get back to being classy? The ballpark is full of young kids and is promoted as family friendly. There's even a giant playscape that is always crawling with kids. Yelling profanities at a pitcher, saying they suck, and yelling "it's all your fault" when a pitcher is replaced is pretty classless. There's a difference between heckling and being a jerk. We need to get back to being family-friendly.

It's a ballpark, not church. You can't expect college kids to act like missionaries. Our fans and heckling are by far the most acceptable in the SEC. Go to an LSU or Arky game if you wanna hear some real classlessness.

When there are families with kids in attendance, the correct thing is to keep subjects clean and language even cleaner.
If you truly don't understand that, then your parents failed you.

I am at all the games. The only possible "offensive" thing said was Jeff Head sucks which quickly disappeared. I did not hear anything like the poster who claimed to hear 203 was yelling at a pitcher or player that they sucked.
Sorry but 203 is fine. And really tired of the morality police creating crimes in their mind that did not occur. And yes I read my Bible everyday and go to church and weekly Bible studies. There is only one group that Jesus routinely condemned, the holier than thou crowd. The same folks who called him a glutton and a drunkard.
Carry on.

The "pitcher's name" sucked definitely happened on opening day. I haven't heard it since.

Didn't hear it. That is stupid and not creative. And if it happened I apologize.

May I ask when you were last at Olsen? And from what I have been told they have cleaned it up.

I'm not validating any claims of profanity, just addressing the erroneous attitude of "this isn't church, don't have any expectations of propriety" from the previous post

As far as us 203 guys believe, yelling that "so and so was better" or that it was a pitcher's fault is fair game because we are stating a fact without outright insulting someone. We have taken the "so and so sucks" criticism and toned it down because we do agree that we can be more funny than insulting. Anytime someone goes too far, we've made sure to police it because we want it to be fun, but also not fall to the levels of LSU fans. If you have any good criticism or question, please feel free to reach out to me.

Much appreciated for listening to some feedback and I have noticed the policing of yourselves. All good stuff.

Even have been get a few laughs of the more creative things.

Thank you!

In hindsight, they may have been high school kids who stopped in from the track meet that was going.

Regardless, they learned not to wear those colors in the ballpark and mainly not in 203.

"Rest ags, this is a family environment"
I have a really hard time believing this ever happened. In the 90's??? I hear stories of 203 bringing in cheerleading bullhorns to yell at the pitcher in the 90's. It's pretty frustrating as current students to hear old ags complaining about heckling and in the same breath turn and say the students aren't loud enough anymore.

And that is fair enough. I think 203 is doing a great job of policing themselves. To me, it is much ado about not much.
