Lednicky looked fine in the first 2 sets. I know things turn south for the rest of the game. Not sure why she would have been pulled?

Yeah she was leading the team in points when she got subbed out. She even had a good amount of digs and passes. They then lost 3 straight sets when she got pulled… hmmmmmm

I wasn't listening too intently but there seemed to be more energy from the broadcasters when Babcock came in. The setter also seemed to favor her at times. I kind of wonder if Lednicky is still not getting the attention she has earned yet. Babcock is a star on a higher visible college team. On the forums, people were surprised Lednicky seems to be starting over Babcock.

Just finished the game. USA screwed that up big time. Fun 5th set (25-27) but I don't know how USA couldn't close it out. They had match point almost the entire extra points....

This was not a good effort by the USA and I don't know what the roster will look like in 2028 but that roster isn't what I would call the A team or even the B team for USA. But I do think Lednicky could have a real good shot but needs to create. Down the line shot and improve serve drastically for international play with so few subs.

Part of the issue, and was raised by the announcers during the Brazil game, this roster has only been playing together for a few weeks but other countries teams have been playing together for years.

Lot of new faces, a couple like Logan still in college and will leave the team in a month or so to go back to their college team. Also probably a good bit of coaches figuring out who fits well together.

Playing internationally as an attacker, the player should be a more well rounded player who can serve aggressively and defend well. Other teams were targeting our outsides a lot because they know US outsides tend to be bad passers.

Lednicky makes the week 2 VNL roster! Hell yeah!

did Logan get much time in Saturday's match? Saw a snippet with a kill from her in 1st set but nothing else with her on the court.

Rettke looked good though. Always expected more from her. such an imposing player at the net .

It's pretty much the skinner, Franklin, eggleston show right now. Lednicky gets some but her attack errors are too high. Babcock plays even less.

okay. Babcock looked terrible 2 games ago. Logan looked good but I didn't check out scoring as to errors. Logan blocks well comparatively
