Soccer: Aggies start SEC slate with a 3-0 victory over Tennessee.

Thursday night at Ellis field saw the Aggies defeat Tennessee 3-0 and move to 8-1-1 on the season. The win got A&M off to a 1-0 start in conference play and was due in large part to a hat trick by Shea Groom.

Rain may not be A&M sports best friend lately.

The eleventh ranked Aggie soccer team didn’t seem to mind it though.

The sky opened up for the first half of Thursday night’s SEC opener against Tennessee, a team that has been anything but welcoming to A&M since their entrance to the conference.

A dominant defensive performance and a Shea Groom hat trick changed that, and got the Aggies off to a 1-0 conference start.
