Football
Mike Elko and the Texas A&M football staff added two big recruits to the 2026 class. Linebacker Tank King‍ from Port Arthur, Texas, and defensive end Bryce Perry-Wright‍ from Buford, Georgia, committed to the Aggies on July 4 and July 5, respectively.

Some more exciting news as we gear up for the 2025 football season is that season tickets are sold out for the third straight year. According to the 12th Man Foundation, the 12th Man has already purchased over 93,000 tickets. More than 55,000 season tickets were sold, and the season ticket renewal rate was 93 percent, with over 38,000 student sports passes also selling out.

Men’s Track and Field
Texas A&M men’s track and field signed Lawson Jacobs, a transfer from the University of Louisiana. He was the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and is originally from Spring, Texas. Most recently, Lawson won first place in the 400m and the 4x100 at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship.

Swimming and Diving
The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America named 28 Aggies to its Scholar All-America Teams, which means these student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher as well as competed at the NCAA Championships.
