2026 Iowa Colony wide receiver Jayden Warren commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has added one of the fastest wide receivers in Houston to its 2026 recruiting class today with the verbal commitment of Iowa Colony standout Jayden Warren.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder was in College Station on an official visit when the Aggies hosted South Carolina. He had been committed to the University of Houston since July.
The flip in his pledge moves Mike Elko's haul this cycle to 27 in number. Warren's combination of speed and raw athleticism drew attention from across the country as he had reeled in offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Miami, Texas Tech and several others.
A sturdy, solid pass-catcher, Warren looks more like a running back than a wideout in terms of his build. On tape, though, the traits of an elite receiver begin to emerge. His 10.1 times in the 100m times show up both with and without the ball in his hands. He has consistently run by a lot of the top defensive backs on the southside of Houston for the better part of two full seasons now. He also shows physicality, toughness, and contact balance after the catch to go along with that pull-away speed.
