Dickson will be a lot more fresh for this final on Saturday only running both relays. Wood, will only have the relay to run as well. We'll need a lot more out of Kennedy, she got out really slow and has no room to kick at the end. She passed the baton in 6th, nearly two second behind first.

we used to have an army of 400 runners to put on this relay. Our women's 400 group has been lackluster this year compared to Pat Henry's teams here at Texas A&M… it's so strange to see

Latasha Smith, Antonie Nortje, Hossam Hatib, Musa Isah are all 400 runners who came here and couldn't match their PB's after a whole year. Jaydan Wood Pr'd by a tenth after 2 years here. Kennedy Wade didn't Pr either. Really strange to witness out of a Texas A&M 400 group. Really hope our 4x400 men go sub 3:00 tomorrow.

We did see some huge improvements from Auhmad Robinson, Cutler Zamzow, and Kimar Farquharson.

What do you have Debora Cherono doing? She's been improving every single time she steps on the track, I think she can really have a great race with a solid kick. Lemengole and Halladay-Lowry will be going crazy, I wonder who follows them. Cherono can run well if she stays with the next group. Hopefully that overcomes her inexperience!

Crazy how Jameesia Ford can carry South Carolina to a podium finish.

Georgia just has the stars and it's too much to overcome. They'll be even stronger next year. Hopefully Montgomery and/or Dickson can have a Jameesia Ford type impact next year. Adding Taylor Nunez will make us a sprinting powerhouse. I just wish we could add some 400 girls. Possibly a 400 hurdler who can score there and run a relay leg. We need an 800 runner as well

Regardless what happens the next two days, I'm excited we're in the podium conversation on both sides. This is the standard for Texas A&M Track. This sport has been evolving rapidly with NIL, foreigners, 24 year old freshman. Glad Pat Henry has adapted with the changes to this sport. Must be difficult to manage a roster nowadays. I'm just glad we're in a great position on both sides. Title number 10 would be beautiful and that's still the goal for tomorrow. I'd be in tears if that were to come true! Let's give it our all these next two days.

It's strange how Oregon has just fallen completely out of all championship discussions both men and women. In one respect its easy just because the rosters seem to change so much, and obviously the money has really affected everyone. But their history is really strong, so it seems strange that they likely won't have a top ten finish on either side.

Their women may dk okay in the 1500 and they have a strong girls hurdler and they need all to do well to get top ten, but you are absolutely right. Seems to me is they can't find an identity. They've been changing coaches, one year they want to focus on sprints, then in a couple years they wanna be all distance based. With their resources and facilities alone, they should be dominating. But they can't keep coaches around with their expectations.

The Florida men having a down year, where they were near the bottom of the SEC as well is just as strange. It seems a few years ago when NIL started they were poaching everyone and bringing in so much talent. I guess their promises failed or they ran out of money

She's in 8th. I agree there is potential upside, but there is a lot of competition in that 9:3x range.

Makes sense! I'm getting excited because I saw her have so much more in the tank even with a big PR. Even at regionals I think she just wanted to play it safe to make sure she qualified! It'll be a fun race and I'm excited to see what she does! Crazy how well she's taken up the event!

It's ironic he can't get an 800-meter runner in here considering his athletic exploits in that event. Every decent one we still have on the roster was recruited by Mallard and he's been gone for two seasons. That well runs dry at the end of the day today though. Sad to see 800U come to the end of its run. What a run it's been.

I will say he has done a good job getting the two steeplechasers here. Hopefully they pay off today and tomorrow.

I thought that was a pretty good result in the 4x100. Minnesota cramped and are out of the whole competition now. Usc didn't win at least and Arkansas got beaten by lsu and auburn
