USC will likely have a(correction 3) point lead over us before the 4x400. We have to beat them by a couple places, let's hope their 4x400 falters like their men did yesterday. But aside from that, looks like we're comfortably top 3 in the team standings.

O'Brien won 3 of the events, but not the overall championship. I know the points are based on a scale per event, but that seems kind of wacky. Pretty impressive though to win hurdles, shot and 800
Well below her best, she struggled in day 1 with an uncharacteristic high jump. Nearly a half foot under her best. That threw her off and she didn't have a great shot put event and wasn't her best in the 200. She came back stronger in day 2 to secure the bronze. She's only a freshman and moved over here in January. Next year, records will fall

Yeah I get your point! Her high jump really seemed to drop her though. And only 9 inches in the long jump in favor of Enok created a nearly 100 point difference.
Yeah she had one of the top long jump marks in the region and could have qualified if she elected to compete in it two weeks ago. The long jump was on Thursday so she could have done both.

Projection with just the 5000 and 4x4 left. Neither have a 5000. In 4x4 I have Ags 5th and USC in 6th. We need to move up or they need to move down.

Wonder if Georgia is going to go for a huge race in the 4x400. They don't need it, but it'll be interesting to see what they do! Would be cool to let some younger girls run, gain some experience and confidence for the future. But the girls who got them the championship deserve to run it out!

Yeah I believe so! Lamara did do the triple at one point, then just focused on the high jump. But Tyra was the Heptathlete!

Georgia's only gonna get better with all their bringing in. They signed an amazing recruiting class and are bringing in national type scorers. We have a lot of great pieces returning, let's add some more stars to this team and catch the dawgs!
