Issa faded badly...really needed a healthy Lawson Jacobs to have a shot.

Yeah he would have made a huge difference had he been healthy, probably capable of a low 44 easily.

they're at zero points, they only had two hurdlers make the finals and they both will podium and they have a strong triple jumper. A really awful year for them.

Not much better on the women's side. Landing the Maxwell twins saved his job

It's a possibility, but we'll really need Narumbe and Scott to both come through. Scott needs to win and Narumbe top 3. Then we'll need some points from Bassey and the 4x400 to run a hell of a lot better.

Nebraska already has 28 points, I'd hope we can pass that. Arkansas is still the favorite. Auburn looks like a shoe in for 2nd unless they lose a lot of points in the finals, Georgia will be right behind them. Oregon will be relying on the distance races. It's gonna be tough, I'm not sure we get it.

And usc is in a similar situation with only 2 points going into Friday.....crazy.

Women's 4x100 qualifies for the final running a 42.52, another season's best good enough for second in the heat

Cherono looked nothing like herself out there, falls to the back of the race… just way off her bests this year. Not sure if she's injured, but with how this season has gone for our distance squad it wouldn't surprise me. They're all hurt or way off their times. Been a strange year for this group after such a strong cross country season
