I saw it on TV when I was a kid. Years later, I wondered about it but didn't know (couldn't remember) the title.
Sometime in the mid-2000s, I was reminded of it and went searching. I stumbled onto an mp4 of it, online somewhere, and watched it again.

I rewatch both of the ones I listed about once a year.
Saw this as a kid on Channel 11 in DFW and loved it and still watch it every once in a while on DVD. It's a really cool story but has a guy in a Dino suit, Joan Van Ark and an aging Richard Boone as a hunter trying to kill the dinosaur and saying some very cheesy lines. Also has a cool theme song. It's awesome lol.

Parents would drop you off, pick you up about dark having had the entire day to themselves. Well the theatre was sold out so she drove us over to the Broadway never looking at what was showing and assuming they had a fun club… they did not. We got a real education that Saturday.

Possibly one of the worst "movies" ever made. Literally a waste of photons. No matter where you start out, you will be dumber after having seen this. (I watched it twice, thinking I might want to go into politics). You have been warned.
