Morning my Texags people!


-Been a busy busy week, thus the reason I haven't been posting
-Bout to get up to shower. Flight to Punta Can today
-Staying at 3 different resorts that are all next to each other. But how much you gonna bet it's a $20 taxi ride (assuming we can't walk but will see)
-Will have to do some work but hopefully not too much. Gonna lock in on the flight and get as much done as possible.
-Lots of margs in my future.

- It's gonna be a beautiful day with a current 58 and a high of 73 with clear skies. Gonna make the most of it.

- Gus is at the flower shop today because his real mom is going out of town tomorrow. Booooo.

Batman is just a wealthier Inspector Gadget with a better costume.

At the dealership having the tires I bought on Monday installed. I wish they had GameDay on. HGTV isn't doing it for me.

Cloudy and in the 60s. Supposed to rain later. We need the rain.

Went to bed at a decent hour

Slept until 8:15am when the Aussie said "hey, get up and take us for a walk and feed us!" in her own language

Wife got stranded on the west coast due to a mess in the Metroplex with communications at both airports. Thankfully she found a hotel with a vacancy.

Looks like I get to visit IAH this afternoon if things go according to plan.

This week at work was not the most fun I ever had. And the President resigning was just the conclusion of a dumb situation.

I remembered to wager in the Pickoff this morning. Picked mostly upsets so I'll either make big bucks or lose it all, but that's gambling with Liucci bucks, correct?

Tried out dinner at Walk-Ons last night. Meh. Pretty average sports bar food. No way my wife would go there so I gave it a shot. Glad that's out of the way.

Another warm day in West Georgia/East Alabama. I believe all those Walmart folks have moved to Costco and Walmart now has a customer upgrade.
Grandkids' soccer game today and late lunch somewhere.

A good Saturday starts with good coffee.

Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of humankind is up to.

No argument. Sam's is across the road and apparently none of Sam's customers are aware of the turn signal options on their vehicles.

Saturday is Domino's Pizza day for Benny and me. The one day a week we don't eat grocery store food. They have large unlimited topping pizzas right now (takeout) for $9.99. I added spinach to my regular beef and jalapeno pizza, so it's now healthy! Isn't it?!?

Pizza is a complete food.

Grains
Dairy
Meat
Fruit
Vegetables

-Parents are doing much better today! Might be able to go home on Tuesday

-Putting up Halloween decorations at my Texas house all weekend

-Catching up on one of my favorite podcasts while I work

-Hibbett Sports released a State Fair of Texas inspired Adidas today and I was able to get a pair (limited to 1320 pairs).

They have a lot of western tooling on the leather, a Ferris wheel on the tongue, corn dog and ferris wheel on the insoles, a silver star and Dallas on the heel tab, and a customer lace shield. The soles also have the stat outline with a star of the location of the state Fair.

They didn't get permission from the State Fair so they are technically called the "Dallas" editions and they make it very clear that they aren't related.

'Chingchong town' is insensitive, yes, lol. Those corn dogs looked crazy!
