I said oh I'm sorry to bother in that case but thanks so much for all of the entertainment over the years. Slapped hands and did a brotha hug and he sat back down and we went on our way.

I was with family that aren't wrestling fans and they had no idea who it was or why I was freaking out until I told them I just met one memeber of the longest running tag team champs in WWE history. It was such a cool and totally random moment for me.

Had a similar encounter with Booker T and his family at the Houston Stock Show a few years ago. My kids were showing cattle that weekend and his little boy came down the aisle and asked my son if he could pet his cow. I looked up and saw Booker and gave him the nod of
Did he approve? He gave me the head bob and his son petted out "cow." They took a couple of pics but I left my phone on my pocket. As they were done, Booker thanked my son and shook my hand. I told him thanks for the years and asked where was Stevie Ray? He just laughed and gave me a bro slap across my back. When they left, my son was like "Who was that?" So I pulled up a Wrestlemania video of Booker doing the Spineroonie. My son was like "What the hell? You know a celebrity?" I was like "No, but he was here as a dad not as a celebrity so I let him have a dad moment."

That is a great story. I just learned the other day that Golberg apparently lives in Boerne as I've been seeing him post on IG about his son crushing it in baseball there.

I'm not going to stalk him next time I travel South or anything...but...yeah...I'd be freaking out even moreso than the Xavier encounter.

Wrestling is just so fun and these characters are larger than life to most of us here.

I would love to see MJF at a gas station randomly and him tell me to **** off one of these days.

I am hoping they will have House of Black on Collision. Love watching them. I have tried watching WWE here lately, but just can't. I love AEW, because it takes me back to the days of watching the Von Erichs and the Freebirds wrestle in WCW.

My son is in the same class as Goldberg's son. I have gotten to know Bill pretty well the last several years. He is a really good man, big heart, and his wife is really fun to talk to as well. Great people.

Weirdly enough my wife is a photographer who works with Reality of Wrestling. She's even been ringside taking pictures at a Booker T match fairly recently.

If she's been around long enough, she might remember Jasper "The Hammer" Davis.

Like Jimmy said, definitely a wrasslin' term. Carny as hell but it's so good. Best part (I'd changed my name halfway thru the season because my qb went down for the year and every qb I picked up for a random start seemed to get injured or have a career worst performance) was when someone on the league message board was like "ok who is the Drizzling shhts? man your team is terrible but I'm against you this week" and i got to chime in "yup, thats me!"

Dynamite was awesome, and the ending was crazy... although at one point you could see Moxley talking to Nick Jackson on the outside clear as day... but that's part of the AEW charm.

Eddie Kingston... lol good lord. I understand why he has a cult following, but Jesus this dude is even more out of shape than before. He could barely function in the ring and he was surrounded by nothing but athletic freaks.

Will Ospreay is my favorite wrestler to watch. So pumped to get some chances to see him in the upcoming weeks.


And did anyone notice the giant NO that was on the screen during the 8-way tag match with Sting and Co??? That was pretty strange... it kind of looked like a production error, but it also looked like some Bray Wyatt ****

Down in the valley at away game, folks brought and entire youth team down onto the field to get a picture with him. He's on the field (before and after the game) as he helps with volunteer stuff, that's how I know him as I do it with him and other dads.

It's really fun to watch people star gaze and interact with him. He's gracious. People come up to get selfies all the time, and he always makes time. He's a good dude.


Edit - if you seriously want to come meet him, best time in the near future would be to catch him at one of our home football games. Happy to help arrange. He normally swings by to help on the field, but not always, but rest assured, he will be in the stands watching his son.
