Does it have any sort of community creations? I was gonna get it and basically recreate the wcw vs nwo revenge roster.

The creation area is pretty bare bones, at least for now

I may be remembering wrong, but I think the plan is to continuously update the game's roster and overall gameplay instead of releasing a new game every year

There's an AEW video game?! This is news to me and not sure how I couldn't have heard about this as both an AEW fan and gamer nerd.

I loved playing the WWE2K I had several years ago. Bummer to hear it is mediocre and lacking roster depth.

ETA: After doing some quick research it gets a 7.5 user review on ign. 6 from the critic. But there is some outdoor stadium stampede mode coming to it and I just watched it and it has people being run over by large golf carts, molotov cocktails, bazookas, and Hangman plowing through people on a horse. Sounds kind of awesome tbh.

The Blood and Guts match on AEW this week was wild. It's amazing that people don't get seriously injured doing that stuff. Sure it's all somewhat planned, but the havoc and being live leads to some unintended things. Moxley needs a transfusion every week.

I'm not there yet but almost and this whole show has been incredible.

-Jungle Boy makes for a surprisingly good heel and I had no idea until just now that Hook is Taz' son.

- MJF and Adam Cole together are just pure gold. The bit in the Chinese restaurant was hilarious.

-^ Their mash up intro, the dance off, and the match itself with Jericho on commentary was great. Absolutely electric crowd in Boston.

AEW is so damn entertaining.

ETA: Oh yeah, and Britt Baker was looking extra fine.

Holy **** that was awesome!! As Taz put it, "What a marvelous display of pro wrestling violence". Just non-stop mahyem.

That drop down from the top of the cage by Pac onto one of the Jackson bros on the table was nuts.

It's hard to believe how they are able to choregraph all this so well for a full hour. I think this is one of the better AEW episodes I've watched start to finish. Wrestling is still FUN!

Yep I had to watch it on mute last night but it was great. Sunday i should be able to run it back with audio. Fun show.

I wouldn't be surprised if the most obvious play is the one they go with and they have MJF turn on AC... BUT what if they go the other way, and Cole does the heel turn and MJF goes face? I don't think it would surprise me if that's the end goal.

That's an interesting thought. Having him make a similar transition to that which Cena did (starting out as a heel and then becoming a babyface capable of carrying the brand for a significant number of years) would be interesting indeed.

Maybe he wants to take a look at Cena, Rock and Goldberg's post-wrestling bank accounts. ;-). That should convince him the high-earning potential that awaits babyfaces when their wrestling days end.

One could argue that Stone Cold and Bautista were on the other side of the scale. But they weren't heels in the true sense of the word.

It was good for a Lesnar match. Logan Paul and Ricochet, however, had an amazing match.

So let me take my shot at this.

Jey is going to step away so that Jimmy gets his bump and time with Roman. Jimmy is going to have him beat headlining a PPV and Jey is going to show up to ruin it. That sets up Jimmy/Jey headlining and the winner gets a second shot at Roman. This time the other one will show up and help the brother win.

Yup they are stretching this out.
