Damn.

Must see for me.

This story is like a bookend to the Conspiracy movie where the final solution was planned. That meeting was at Goring's direction although he was not there. It was Heydrich and Eichmann doing the dirty work at the Wannsee conference.

"Conspiracy"

loaded - well with what I would call character actors. you'll recognize a bunch of them. The leads are Kenneth Branagh and Stanley tucci.

Considered a TV movie I guess as it was made by HBO films before the age of streaming in 2001.

best known for his roles in Valkyrie and as Churchill in The Kings Speech or Doctor Who appearances

Kevin McNally as Martin Luther: Undersecretary and SS liaison, Foreign Ministry.

I just saw this on IMDB last night. Had no idea this was coming. But given my interest in all things WWII, I'll no doubt see this opening night.

Considering what we're seeing from the revenue this summer's blockbusters are (not) bringing in, do we think this is the start of studios reducing budgets?

Hopefully. They're going to have to. That said, year-to-date box office is still up 10% over 2024. So it's not like the studios aren't bringing in money. Movies are more popular than they've ever been this decade. It's just that the profit margins need to be better.

But yeah, there's absolutely no reason a Heat sequel should cost $170M. That's insane.

Yep, I think you're spot on.... I think people are back to going out to the theaters, but it's really the ballooning budgets that's the problem.

What role would Leo play? There are some "villains" that I could see Leo playing. Two more casting notes: not sure why Pacino needs to reprise the role, just a find a younger actor to take the reins. And why not Kilmer's son to play Chris? I get Butler's appeal but having the young Kilmer would be awesome!

IHIOGA that most of the budget is going toward an actress with a great ass and the CGI required to to have a guys head all the way up in it
