Very okay. Not near as good as Superman.

It never made sense to me why Disney didn't save FF for November. Just completely baffling, especially considering they only had a year to shoot it and do VFX, which is insane for a movie of this scale.
Weirdly, though, that may be a blessing for the superhero genre in the long run, re: superhero fatigue, seeing as the next superhero movie now isn't until June 26, 2026 with Supergirl. In the modern age, have we ever gone 11 months without a superhero movie?
Well somehow I forgot about TDKR.Bruce Almighty said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:
The Avengers to Iron Man 3 was a year.
10 months. TDKR came out 2 months after Avengers.

It probably hurt that this movie came out at the peak of social media becoming aware that Pedro Pascal is a weirdo. Hollywood has tried so hard the last few years trying to shoehorn him in as THE guy. Maybe they'll move on to someone more deserving.

I did think his voice was weird in parts of this movie. I dunno if it's because in most things he's kind of going for a gruff lower pitched thing but the first time he talked in this movie I thought of the SNL skit he's in where he wakes up with the weird voice.

Doesn't seem like a "small minority" kind of thing. My favorite clip was where he laid his hands on Willem Dafoe's wife and he looked like he wanted to punch him. Something is definitely off about that guy, but I guess we can agree to disagree on that.

I thought he was going for a nerdier voice for Reed. It sounded off in a couple scenes.
