Very okay. Not near as good as Superman.

I really enjoyed both movies. I will definitely see them both again in the theater, but I think F4 has me wanting to rewatch more.

It never made sense to me why Disney didn't save FF for November. Just completely baffling, especially considering they only had a year to shoot it and do VFX, which is insane for a movie of this scale.

Weirdly, though, that may be a blessing for the superhero genre in the long run, re: superhero fatigue, seeing as the next superhero movie now isn't until June 26, 2026 with Supergirl. In the modern age, have we ever gone 11 months without a superhero movie?

They were trying to punk DC. And it backfired badly.

The Avengers to Iron Man 3 was a year.

10 months. TDKR came out 2 months after Avengers.
Well somehow I forgot about TDKR.

It probably hurt that this movie came out at the peak of social media becoming aware that Pedro Pascal is a weirdo. Hollywood has tried so hard the last few years trying to shoehorn him in as THE guy. Maybe they'll move on to someone more deserving.

I don't disagree... at minimum the Pedro fatigue is real. I'm pretty tired of seeing him in everything

He's definitely a bit overexposed right now, but the whole "weird" thing is a small minority of online posters looking for something to be mad about. I've never heard a negative thing said about him by anyone who knows him.

I did think his voice was weird in parts of this movie. I dunno if it's because in most things he's kind of going for a gruff lower pitched thing but the first time he talked in this movie I thought of the SNL skit he's in where he wakes up with the weird voice.

I thought he was going for a nerdier voice for Reed. It sounded off in a couple scenes.

Doesn't seem like a "small minority" kind of thing. My favorite clip was where he laid his hands on Willem Dafoe's wife and he looked like he wanted to punch him. Something is definitely off about that guy, but I guess we can agree to disagree on that.

If it wasn't for TexAgs I would never know anything about anyone in the entertainment biz

This? The Internet is outraged about a chin touch? Jesus Christ, do people just have no life whatsoever? Were you also upset when Pedro shoved his head inside of the woman's arms a few minutes later when she came and hugged him?

Yeah, in an interview he talked about how he was going for sort of a 60s science teacher vibe and that he had a hard time finding the right balance without it sounding too weird.

I've seen a few comments that also mention he seemed like he might have been neurodiverse, makes a lot of sense for the smartest guy on the planet might be a bit socially awkward.

Yeah that's a whole lot of nothing.
