I wonder how many years until parole
17.5 until he's eligible, but Texas BPP is very harsh on "High Profile" cases. My experience points to two 5-year set offs and he will serve at least 27.5

She should tell them she is sorry but has no idea who the father is of four of the five children.

35, will have to serve 17.5 before parole eligibility. I think this was a good outcome for Anthony. He will have a shot at living a life after getting out.

The 18 year old kid earlier in the thread that killed another 18 year old at a party with a kick to the face got 30 as well. Was paroled at 28 with good behavior.
Kicking someone in the face and causing their death is materially different, in my opinion, than stabbing someone with a knife you had with you.

Murder 30+ years and jury finds him guilty before 4 today.

Hopefully he will be killed in prison.

Not true justice. But that's basically a wasted life. I'll take it over him walking out in fifteen years
He'll walk in 17.5

I was wrong about the 20, but I think it'll be less than that. I think he'll serve somewhere around 8 to 10, not sure how much he has to serve though.
This kid is not going to have a good time in prison. He really should've made a different decision.

Had to serve minimum half.
Probably have to be a choir boy to get first shot parole

With how high profile this case is, he isn't getting his first chance at parole granted unless he starts healing the blind while in prisonKenneth_2003 said:

OK, yes sorry I caught up with everything. He'll still only be 36 by the time he gets out but he'll be a very different person. I really think he thought he was going to walk or get a very light sentence before the trial started. Once it started going the way it did. I hope he prepared himself.
Hopefully there won't be any riots.
Jury instructions in Texas no longer include any notice of parole or early release for good behavior so most jurors are surprised to learn that the convicted may only serve 1/3rd to 1/2 of their sentence.PathfinderGeneral said:
It's half the sentence or 30 years whichever is less. So if they sentenced him to 80 years he would be eligible in 30.

So what happened at the sentencing hearing? Did he or anyone else give statements?

The tweets saying his heads down, shaking uncontrollably... The FO phase is not sitting well with him
