You continue to put too much into that HR. It's gutless with the 2 paragraphs I pointed out.

Trump already instructed Bondi to do exactly what is laid out in that HR. Release all that can be released.

You are correct, zero impact on the midterms unless there is a specific person or issue affected, but that is an unknown at this point.

If Massie wanted to get a nod from me, then he would be simultaneously calling for a look into HOW such an operation got started, how the girls were trafficked, and why with the high profile it took so ****ing long for anything to come out.

The how not the who and how do you stop it.

"Release all that can be released" without an explanation of why what is redacted is left redacted. If Trump directed Bondi to release exactly what is laid out we would have an explanation for the redactions.

Also, its funny that the admin would consider it an "attack on Trump" to sign an HR that does exactly what he wants done anyway lol

trump may "lose support" from twitter accounts, but overall no one really cares about this. its a non-issue on main street away from the internet

if the economy gets humming, trump will roll through the midterms with even more support.

This is a bad thing, not a moot point that should be glossed over.

Our populace, and unfortunately the so called conservative wing, are becoming apathetic to government malfeasance. Queue the "nothing will happen" nonsense a lot of people like to spew. Trump flip flopping on this issue should be a red flag to many and we should be thankful Massie is trying to shine a light on this.

And Trump would still roll through midterms if he supported the release of unredacted Epstein files. There is no logical reason to be against what Massie is doing.

Bingo. Which makes you wonder why Trump (and anyone else who has said they want everything released) is so against it.

I also want what you posted above, but I'm not bending over backwards taking pot shots at the few people that are trying to get some transparency related to this issue. Your attacks against Massie and those wanting transparency makes it sound like you are not genuine in wanting full transparency. Or are just going along with whatever Trump says at the time.

Objectivity is seeing Massies stung for what it is. And it sure as **** is not about transparency.

Again, he has the family right there. Have them stand in front of the camera and talk about how these girls got wrapped up in it, how they got out, and who they told at the time.

I was critical of Trump's handling of this early in the thread.

You should question why others who I supposed "attacked" will not answer the questions when asked why they do not clamour for more from others involved in the whole thing. The Epstein scandal is one of sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors, but going on and on about files at the FBI, Mossad conspiracies and the like push the crux of the issue aside.

When you do that, you will get a tabloid chaser label from me. Pretty simple and not a damn thing to do with my Trump worship.

Mediocrity is the enemy of greatness.

BTW - Evidently Massie is saying or insinuating Trump's holding back to protect his cronies and big name donors. Yep, Massie is just asking for transparency? Again, if he was honest, then he would ask the additional questions I ask, not taking shots at Trump.

Have any of the survivors wrote a book or done an interview where they say exactly what happened and with who? There's millions to be made if they would release a podcast at least. Just tell us what happened and who did it. All this press conference without going into every detail makes me think it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Now that the democrats have taken up their cause, I'm CERTAIN the 'survivors' will be given their scripts snd paraded around for interviews....

Is anyone other than one NBC individual reporting the admin considers signing Massie's petition a "hostile act" ? Curious if that is being given legs without corroboration.

Seeing the survivors out there prepared to release names is very interesting.

If Trump has nothing to hide, or no one to protect, it doesn't make sense why he would release the files.

I really don't think he's protecting himself, he would have admitted to being quite good friends with him many months ago to shut this up if it were that simple.

Trump is protecting the same thing that every administration has protected for the past 60 years. They're protecting the money trail and the "donor class" on both sides, they always have and always will. That is the ONLY explanation for how this has been handled as poorly as it has. We might be about to watch the system burn down.

So Trump is not wanting the truth to come out to get under people's skin?

You think that's how the victims should be treated?

Maybe Trump has other countries leaders pressuring him not to release because they are implicated . What if CEOs are involved of big corporations? And without proof of molesting a child, would it ruin them? If they took a ride to the island, I feel they were obligated to report any child abuse/ child trafficking at the very least. Those people who partied with him or knew him and did not go to the island, would they be implicated falsely? After all, Trump kicked him out of his Mar a Lago because Epstein was hitting on an underage daughter of one of Trump's guests. Dems try to say because Epstein was there Trump is guilty.

These people have had decades to come out about this. Why didn't they before now.?

I'm not saying they don't have a right to, but after what we saw happened to Kavanaugh and Eugene and Carol is just hard to trust with a lot of people say now.

Both of those stories were complete made up bull*****

Broadly speaking, it isn't the daughters of the wealthy and powerful who get caught up in stuff like this. The victims and their families probably knew it was a long-shot to win a case against someone like Epstein, with his resources.

The idea is that they feared for their lives. Epstein was connected to political leaders around the globe, bankers, billionaires, thought leaders, etc.

If some of the most powerful people in the world on both sides of the aisle were implicated, it shouldn't be a far stretch to think that victims could be suicided if they threatened to speak out.

Like Virginia Guiffre, who posted publicly that she was not suicidal before later dying by suicide.

Even if it weren't fear of death or something like that, it would still be outcasts telling their story against a well-connected billionaire...a fight they would be unlikely to win.

Not saying that any of that is true, but it seems like a plausible explanation. On top of that, it is now more socially acceptable to be open about having dealt with trauma of that nature than in the past.

IMO, this is a VERY fair question to ask. And why haven't they still not named names?

The timing of all of this adds credibility to the theory that this is only happening now because Trump MAY be involved in any way with all of this.

IMO, he's not, or stuff would have leaked years ago.

Before anyone calls me a defender of pedos ... I am extremely sensitive to violence against women, especially young women. I spend hours working with abuse victims. But I also think it is VERY fair to ask why some are making such a huge deal about this now, when they weren't a year ago. Or 5 years ago.

OK. So why are POLITICIANS more concerned about this now? They seem to be the one driving this bus; not the victims.

Epstein died in 2019. Why did politicians wait until 2025 to get excited about this?
