Trump is a great president. I've supported him for years. However he isn't infallible. The handling of the Epstein matter has been a joke thus far.
Dems refuse to consider Trump's innocence because of their illogical reasoning & refusal to admit basic facts, which are Epstein's most serious indictment was during Trump's term, & Trump passed laws that would incriminate him as well if he was indeed a trafficking Pedo, so you can bet the Dems would've made that case during Biden's term since they tried everything else- UNLESS it was gonna be too messy for them to do so!
IMHO, Trump has been nails thus far, as every doom & gloom hypothetical has been proven wrong, & his efforts to actually take down the "Deep State" that TRIED every way to take him out may prove legendary; therefore, I'm not quite sure I want to be overly critical of his & the Repubs' handling of Epstein just yet.
Maybe it's a carefully timed trap that'll be sprung when ready, a big nothing burger, OR it's so jolting to every govt'l, social, financial, & religious institution that it's in the public's interest to not be made known (although hopefully remedied discretely).
I agree it seems like an apparent 'fumble'; is that by design or just a huge F-up? I pray time provides a complete answer.
