Why would DOJ do this since Epstein is dead and his plea agreement is now moot?

"The Justice Department on Friday asked a federal judge overseeing the case of deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to deny a request from NBC news to unseal the names of two associates who received large payments from him in 2018, court documents show. The Justice Department cited privacy concerns expressed by the two individuals as the reason for not making their names public.

Everyone knew Trump was in the Epstein files from the beginning. He's in there for business and socializing reasons, not for kid-diddling reasons. Saying Trump is in the Epstein files is not the gotcha that people think it is.

I thought it was an unforced error when Bondi first said the files were on her desk and it died there.

If Trump was in there dim's would have already released the info. I can imagine all kinds of scenarios. I hope Trump is the one to release.
