It's not like USA Gymnastics is the local rotary club and it's not like abusing 300 girls over 20 years is easy to keep under wraps.

It was probably a lot easier than you think it is. Schedule treatment when no one else is around. It's already your job to put your hands on them. Make them come to a private room when on the road. Their training camp was at the Karolyi ranch in the middle of woods east of Huntsville.

It was probably way easier for Nassar than for Sandusky.

Believe it was known though and he was still allowed. See current Swalwell shenanigans - and to be honest not terribly different than Epstein.

Lots of whispers and rumors but no one willing to take a stand until way, way too late.

Swalwell, Epstein, Sandusky, Nasslar - serial abusers of women and children who were enabled by people willing to look the other way when dealing with 'powerful' folk.

I hate Swalwell. He's scum. But I wouldn't put him in there with three convicted serial sex offenders.

Fair enough. Included for current example of coverups by people who knew, should have known and did nothing.

I only became deeply interested in the Epstein case because of the New Mexico connection. From reading the posts on this thread it appears that the individuals who down play the significance of failure to reveal all the files are those that are President Trump's strongest supporters. For the record, I do not believe there is any evidence that would incriminate President Trump. My reading of this topic,I cannot recall anyone who has suggested such. The Nassar, Swalwell, and Sandusky disgusting episodes have nothing to do with releasing the Epstein Files. I am just amazed that anyone would be OK or trying to justify the files not being released.

Great point. Those people tend to be the ones who believe all the Epstein files have not been released, that Jeffrey and Ghislaine were the ultimate Natasha & Boris of Mossad, that Epstein did NOT kill himself, and that Trump doodled birthday cards to people they barely knew.

Thanks for pointing that out.

It's been covered exhaustively in the media and this very thread.

An article from 90 days ago saying all documents have been released is not exactly an update.

If you are talking about the redactions and exclusions in the Massie-Khana law, those are not being hidden. They were reviewed and determined to not be responsive to the law OR in certain cases were redacted and withheld.

Pretty sure you know this and have known this.

To pretend that someone just proclaimed interest in this area because of tie to New Mexico then to mislead by saying Trump and his DOJ are not complying nor releasing,,, that falls under rumor, unconfirmed or false information in my book.

But you do you. My language was not demeaning, it reflects frustration of some trying to mislead in order to keep the story fresh.

If you want a more plausible summation of what happened, read the interview with Dersh that was just posted.

But I am not being a big meanie, just a bit frustrated that there are some who respond old fact as new.

Hahaha nah we both know that's not the case.

It's been refreshing to see Trump lose so much of the average Americans support over this and several other issues. I hope you don't take it too personally.

It gives me faith that the younger folks are going to end the farce of Team Blue and Team Red.

NF didn't sway the election for Trump. Even though he got to spend time with Kanye West and Trump at Mar Largo after the election.

However, Trump did win over a new segment thanks in some part to Barron encouraging him to go on a lot of podcasts. Theo Vaughn is just one example. Most of all those that he went on are now each show instead of previously supporting him are doing the opposite. They spend time pointing out what candidate Trump said vs what president Trump does. When Trump for example tells his own base if they are still interested in Epstein he doesn't want their support well his wish has been granted.

Combine that with the loss of Charlie K and it does add up.

How will this affect mid terms? Not known yet but the chances of Republicans keeping that new found support isn't as great as it once was.

But it can be analyzed post midterms.

When you run on things like cheap gas and lowering prices and you do the opposite. Many of this new segment isn't going to buy his explanation for it especially when it's being explained to them 24/7 by people that once supported him. Will they vote for the other party? Will they decide it's all just a uniparty for the elites and just stay home? Not known. But Trump has not up to this point helped going into the midterms.

Overrepresenting a dinner in which Trump has said he had no idea who Nick was but that his friend Kanye wanted Nick to join him for dinner.

Look forward to post-midterms when it is clearly showing that outside of Carlson-Fuentes bros no one is still harping on Epstein (well, unless Massie needs more airtime).

So laughably wrong thinking this impacts the midterms.

You goal tend for Trump so much. Can you be objective on anything You say over representing a dinner and that Trump
had no idea who he was. Well exactly I said NF didn't sway the election. He was so insignificant Trump had no idea who he was. Of course that's the point. Now fast forward and you are posting a video of him as if he has some major influence when he doesn't. Meanwhile ignoring the actual new segment that was brought in as if it had no significance. It was significant enough that it was talked about quite a bit post election. And they have more on their mind than just JE files which is what I posted.

Several different factions I'd imagine, they're already forming for us younger folks.

Probably a classical liberal party, a working class party, and an anarchy party. Those will be loads better than the fake parties we have right now who both have the same masters.

The main thing that should happen is getting major corporations out of politics and you do that by shrinking the government by 90% at all levels and cutting regulations to practically zero so that billion dollar corporations aren't writing the regulations for their own preservation/monopolies. Send exactly 0$ taxpayer dollars abroad. That would solve 99.99999% of our real problems, not the problems team blue and red manufacture to keep us slaves.

Edit to add if we find a politician living in a $50 Million dollar home on the Ocean on a $200,000/year salary, we ship them to Papua New Guinea immediately.

Routine review being done because the "very concerned" folks in Congress think Trump DOJ is covering up.

It is NOT being done because there is ANY indication that the DOJ did not fully comply. Just providing context so people don't read too much into it.
